Seems 2022 has issued me a challenge. I have Arachnoiditis with acute MSSA Vertebral osteomyelitis/discitis bacteremia... basically my whole central nervous system is infected both in my blood and bones. It will be a very long recovery with at least 4 more weeks of antibiotics and 2/4 weeks of PT before I can go home. It's hard being 1100 miles from home, and feeling lost. The pain is unlike anything I've felt before, I feel trapped in my body. I want to give up, but it's just not in my blood to give up. Just thinking 2 weeks ago I was running through an airport and felt fine... within 48 hours I lost control of my body and have been bedridden since. I refuse to fail. I guess it's up to me to kick 2022 in the balls....
