Hi everyone!

We’re looking to raise money to help buy Alec a new helmet and repair his wheel!! Any extra over our goal of $300 will be used to help these two things or go towards his hospital bills :)

You may or may not have heard, but Alec unfortunately crashed around mile 30 of Boulder 70.3 this past week. In the crash, he sustained a bad shoulder injury (potentially a torn rotator cuff), got seven stitches in his knee, and a mild concussion. Thankfully, he is in good spirits and is discharged from the hospital, but if you know Alec, you gotta know just how much he misses being out there doing swim-bike-run, training, racing, and lifting us all up in his usual, dorky Alec way!!

In the crash, his Giro MIPS Aerohead helmet broke in half. I thought it would be a great community thing to fundraise the $300 so that he could get a new helmet and return to racing once he's healthy enough to do so. He has such a huge heart for this Fort Collins community, so I figure it's the least we can do to pitch in and empower him when he needs us most!
