Nous avons l’immense tristesse de vous annoncer le décès de notre père Albert.

Notre peine est indicible. Malheureusement, le moment du deuil et du recueillement n’est pas encore venu car les épreuves ne s’arrêtent pas là pour nous.

L’hôpital où Albert a reçu ses soins exige à présent le règlement complet des frais d’hospitalisation avant d’autoriser la levée du corps. Le montant de cette facture s’élève à un peu plus d’un million de bahts, soit 27.000€.

Nous engageons la négociation afin d’obtenir un échéancier, et vivons désormais dans l’angoisse que le corps de notre père ne nous soit pas rendu.

Votre solidarité et votre générosité nous seront plus que jamais nécessaires pour faire face et faire front. Le défi paraît insurmontable mais chaque goutte d’eau a son rôle, chaque goutte d’eau contribue à faire couler la rivière et à remplir l’océan. Chaque don, chaque partage compte.

Les filles d’Albert

Chers tous,

Notre père Albert a été victime début mai d’un grave problème de santé qui l’a plongé dans le coma.

Albert est un ancien restaurateur parisien, parti vivre sa retraite en Thaïlande il y a quelques années. Il vit seul modestement. Il a 5 filles, Alexandra, Melody, Sarah, Kikko et Naomi qui vivent toutes en France, sauf Alexandra aux USA.

Depuis le 5 mai 2025, il est hospitalisé à Phuket (Thaïlande). Depuis le 16 mai, il commence à être en état d'éveil.

En l’absence de toute couverture santé sur place, aujourd’hui, nous faisons face à de lourds frais médicaux et avons dû organiser le voyage d'une de ses filles ainsi que son séjour sur place afin qu’elle puisse accompagner Albert dans cette épreuve.

Il nous faut également envisager l’après : un rapatriement sanitaire si son état s’améliore suffisamment ; la poursuite des soins sur place s’il devait au contraire se dégrader.

De quelque côté que penche la balance, nous avons besoin de votre générosité pour aborder les défis à venir. Toute aide nous sera précieuse, chaque euros compte.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our father Albert.

Our grief is indescribable. Unfortunately, the time for mourning and reflection has not yet come, as the ordeal does not end here for us.

The hospital where Albert received his care is now demanding full payment of the hospitalization fees before authorizing the release of his body. The bill amounts to just over one million baht, or €27,000.

We are negotiating to secure a payment schedule, and are now living with the fear that our father's body will not be returned to us.

Your solidarity and generosity will be more necessary than ever to face and endure. The challenge seems insurmountable, but every drop of water has its role; every drop of water contributes to making the river flow and filling the ocean. Every donation, every sharing counts.

Albert's Daughters

Dear all,

At the beginning of May, our father Albert suffered a serious health problem that left him in a coma.

Albert is a former Parisian restaurateur, who retired to Thailand a few years ago. He lives alone and modestly. He has 5 daughters, Alexandra, Melody, Sarah, Kikko and Naomi who all live in France, except Alexandra in the USA.

Since 5 May 2025, he has been hospitalized in Phuket (Thailand). Since 16 May, he has been awake.

In the absence of any health cover, he needs all those who knew and loved him to mobilize so that he and his loved ones can get through these tragic circumstances in peace and dignity.

Today, we are faced with heavy medical expenses (37200 THB, i.e. around 1000€/day of hospitalization) We had to arrange the trip of one of his daughters as well as her stay on site so that she can accompany Albert through this ordeal.

We also need to plan for the aftermath: repatriation if his condition improves; continued care on the spot if it deteriorates.

Whichever way the balance tips, we need your generosity to face the challenges ahead. Any help you can give us will be invaluable.

พ่อของเรา อัลเบิร์ต ประสบปัญหาสุขภาพร้ายแรงในช่วงต้นเดือนพฤษภาคม ซึ่งส่งผลให้เขาอยู่ในอาการโคม่า

อัลเบิร์ตเป็นอดีตเจ้าของร้านอาหารชาวปารีสที่เกษียณอายุที่ประเทศไทยเมื่อไม่กี่ปีที่ผ่านมา เขาใช้ชีวิตอยู่คนเดียวอย่างเรียบง่าย เขามีลูกสาว 5 คนคือ อเล็กซานดรา เมโลดี้ ซาราห์ คิกโก และนาโอมิ ซึ่งทั้งหมดอาศัยอยู่ในฝรั่งเศส ยกเว้นอเล็กซานดราที่อาศัยอยู่ในสหรัฐอเมริกา

ตั้งแต่วันที่ 5 พฤษภาคม 2568 เข้ารับการรักษาที่โรงพยาบาลในจังหวัดภูเก็ต (ประเทศไทย) ตั้งแต่วันที่ 16 พฤษภาคม เขาก็เริ่มตื่นตัวแล้ว

เนื่องจากไม่มีการครอบคลุมด้านสุขภาพในสถานที่ ทำให้วันนี้เราต้องเผชิญกับค่ารักษาพยาบาลที่สูงมาก และต้องจัดเตรียมการเดินทางของลูกสาวคนหนึ่งของเขา รวมถึงการเข้าพักของเธอที่นั่น เพื่อที่เธอจะได้ไปอยู่กับอัลเบิร์ตในช่วงเวลาที่ยากลำบากนี้

Siamo profondamente addolorati nell'annunciare la scomparsa di nostro padre Albert.

Il nostro dolore è indescrivibile. Purtroppo il momento del lutto e della riflessione non è ancora giunto, perché per noi le prove non finiscono qui.

L'ospedale presso il quale Albert è stato curato ora esige il pagamento completo delle spese ospedaliere prima di consentire la dimissione della salma. L'importo di questa fattura ammonta a poco più di un milione di baht, ovvero 27.000 €.

Stiamo negoziando per ottenere un piano di pagamento e ora viviamo nella paura che la salma di nostro padre non ci venga restituita.

La vostra solidarietà e generosità saranno più che mai necessarie per aiutarci ad affrontare questa sfida e a restare fermi. La sfida sembra insormontabile, ma ogni goccia d'acqua gioca un ruolo; ogni goccia d'acqua contribuisce a far scorrere il fiume e a riempire l'oceano. Ogni donazione, ogni condivisione conta.

Le figlie di Alberto

Carissimi,

All'inizio di maggio, nostro padre Albert ha avuto un grave problema di salute che lo ha lasciato in coma.

Albert è un ex ristoratore parigino che si è ritirato in Thailandia qualche anno fa. Vive da solo, in modo modesto. Ha cinque figlie, Alexandra, Melody, Sarah, Kikko e Naomi, che vivono tutte in Francia, tranne Alexandra negli Stati Uniti.

Dal 5 maggio 2025 è ricoverato in ospedale a Phuket (Thailandia). Dal 16 maggio ha cominciato a svegliarsi.

In assenza di qualsiasi copertura sanitaria in loco, oggi ci troviamo ad affrontare ingenti spese mediche e abbiamo dovuto organizzare il viaggio e il soggiorno di una delle sue figlie, affinché possa accompagnare Albert in questa dura prova.

Dobbiamo anche considerare cosa succederà dopo: il rimpatrio sanitario se le sue condizioni migliorano sufficientemente; la prosecuzione delle cure in loco qualora, al contrario, le stesse dovessero peggiorare.

Indipendentemente da come pende la bilancia, abbiamo bisogno della vostra generosità per affrontare le sfide che ci attendono. Ogni aiuto sarà prezioso per noi, ogni euro conta.
