Infant Abuse Whistleblower Fund

Donation protected

A nanny in California recently witnessed infant abuse from her employer and reported it to the police.  The baby boy is just two months old and the father was aggressive towards him on several occasions, in one instance to the point the baby went limp and the nanny feared for the infant's life.   The nanny approached the mother who did nothing.  There were other adults who issued similar warnings to the mother (a family member and another nanny), but no one else has done anything to stop the abuse.  This nanny didn't know what to do and reached out to a previous employer for help, who helped her file a police report.

This nanny took action and spoke up for this little baby when no one else would: she is now suddenly out of work.  She is also a single mother to her own 11-month-old child.  She is scared about her finances.

I heard about her story and offered to help.  This nanny did not ask anyone for money or for help.  She simply did the right thing for her little charge, and is out of work because of it.

We're targeting approximately two months of her  pay to help her get back on her feet.  Thanks for reading.
