Help Kennel Fees for HAAR dogs/cats
Donation protected
As many of you know JoZee and I started “Fitness 4 Furry FriendZ (F4FF)” two years ago with other Zumba/Fitness professionals who simply want to use their talent and expertise to raise funds & awareness for animal welfare. Since then, we have hosted many Zumbathons, with the help of lots of amazing people, and raised funds for New York City's local animal rescues/organizations.
Heavenly Angels Animal Rescue (HAAR) in Queens, New York is one of the rescues we hosted events for and regularly volunteer at. Besides the fact that Queens is one of the boroughs without any government funded shelters, HAAR was located in a very high need area of Queens. There they served as one of the only no-kill shelters and during their 3 years there, HAAR took in and cared for over 100 animals.
Sadly, in November 2014, HAAR was forced to close their doors due to economic hardship and all the animals were moved to a boarding facility in upstate, NY where they are well taken care of. We, volunteers often visit our fur babies up there and make sure they are in a good spirit & health, even though they don’t see us every day.
Since then, HAAR started a foster program and many dogs are in foster homes. Thank you to all the people who opened up their hearts & homes. While HAAR try to find foster/adopter for all of them, they still need to raise funds to keep them safely in boarding.
We love our fur babies and support HAAR with all our hearts. Small rescue groups like them really need local support.
Please help and make a donation. No amount is too small. All donations will go directly to kennel to cover boarding fees. Receipt upon distribution to Kennel will be posted. All donations are tax deductible.
THANK YOU so much for your continued support to HAAR and F4FF. Together we can make a difference!!
