My name is Ashley Bond and I'm a parent at Claire Lilienthal School, where Greg works as a garden educator, and we work together on the Green School Yard Committee. I'm trying to help Greg raise money to pay for needed dental repair, that's due to a bicylce accident that left him with 2 broken front teeth.
On the evening of Friday, May 20th, Greg was riding his bike on a highly-used bike route in San Francisco called "the wiggle", when his tire struck a metal plate on the road that he couldn't see in the dark. He immediately flew over his handle bars and his face hit the road, leaving him with facial wounds and his top two front teeth broken. He has already undergone two root canals and will be needing crowns to repair the teeth.
His medical insurance will help toward the bills, but he has estimated his out-of-pocket costs will be around $2,750. On his educator salary, this is a sizable sum, and it would create a long-term financial strain for him.
When I heard what happened, I immediately wanted to help him. A donation in any amount will be much appreciated, whether you can spare $10, $50 or more. I know he will be eternally grateful and will never forget those that help him during this very difficult time.
All proceeds go directly to Greg.
Please join me in supporting Greg and please feel free to share this link . Thank you!
