Help Mike Q & Ginger Come Home!

Hello Friends & Family:
It has been a long and adventurous summer that we will never forget, it has brought us closer together and we’ve grown so much. Our hearts and minds have been enlightened and enRICHed (in honor of our brother Richard Sharpe who without him none of this would’ve been possible… We love you so much brother!!!!). We have met so many amazing people here, friends for a lifetime. We are also forever grateful to our friends and family at home that have helped maintain our home and our dogs that we miss so so very much! However, it hasn’t been very easy. Living in a foreign country definitely comes with many challenges, some that we were able to handle, others that absolutely caught us by surprise. And now, things are coming down to the wire! We are in need of some last minute help. As you all can imagine, it’s not easy to ask for help like this so we wouldn’t be asking if it wasn’t urgent.
Our plan was to come here to Ibiza and work. We anticipated that work would be plentiful and that we’d be able to earn enough money to not only live but even save based on what our impression of what was possible here prior to our arrival. Unfortunately, the season didn’t start out as expected. It was a very slow and late start this year and before we knew it our funds became very low. Work was scarce for the first month, everyone was struggling. On top of that the cost of living here is far more expensive then we had anticipated. When work finally became available it wasn’t consistent and in fact we are still waiting to be paid for several jobs. Apparently, labor laws do not exist in Ibiza. Things were starting to look up mid-June to July but we encountered some unforeseen challenges and setbacks that were out of our control and our money situation became even tighter. As some of you know, we tried to collect past debts to assist our financial situation, but still haven’t completely received what was owed to us and now we are seeking other possibilities such as this GoFundMe campaign.
We have to get home before our visas expire and everyday the airfares increase in cost. They have almost doubled in the past two weeks and our departure deadline is August 11th. Which means we need to purchase our tickets immediately before they double in cost again. We had planned to secure our flights home many weeks ago but for reasons beyond our control we weren’t able to do so. And therefore we are communicating our needs and requesting any sort of generosity through this GoFundMe campaign. Donations of any kind will be greatly appreciated. Please, spread the word!
At this point, we just want to come home to be with our Family & Friends. We love and miss each and every one of you so very much and we can’t wait to share all our stories of adventure, through all the peaks and valleys, and all the beautiful friends and loved ones that we’ve had the honor of meeting & loving. We can’t wait to be with our dogs, Doc & Dixie, and snuggle with them and sleep in our own bed! We miss all of your beautiful faces and smiles and all your radiant, loving energy & vibes… For the first time in my life since I (Q) was 7 years old (and I know I speak for Ginger as well), we’re truly homesick. “Home Sweet Home” has never rung so true…. Thank you for reading this and being part of our manifesting our way back home. We love you all!
