Suzanne Dawn Murphy was and is a beacon for peace, love and hope. She exemplifies strength in so many ways but lost her battle against cancer on April 26, 2015. Suzanne sacrificed her time and energy to her work in so many ways. Her will to do "all that is good" for her family, friends and students inspires many by her life to make every day count.
In addition to teaching, as a Peer Counseling Coordinator and Prevention Liaison at Northeast High School, Suzanne dedicated herself unselfishly to every mission she presented her students and staff. Her Peace Garden, created to symbolize the power of peace through nurturing and beauty, undeniably resonated with the entire school community. Suzanne's legacy will be forever felt by the thousands whose lives she impacted.
