Why create a story about suicide prevention and mental health awareness?
Spreading the word helps break down the misconceptions and biases surrounding mental health challenges and getting help. Just like the World Health Organization emphasizes, "You can't have good health without taking care of your mental well-being."
Hey! Our names are Brent Torres and Noah Vincent-Blatter and we are the creators of "The Road Without You," a student short film about a high school senior grieving after the death of her childhood best friend.
We attend Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, and are looking for funding to support our project!
This funding would go to the following categories:
1. EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Whoa, this is really pricey! Our objective is to deliver a top-tier production for this project, and your funding is vital in making sure we achieve the exact image, exceptional quality, and genuine authenticity we have in mind.
2. CRAFTY
We want to ensure our team is well-fed! Since our cast and crew won't be receiving payment, it's crucial that we offer ample snacks, lunches, and dinners.
3. TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES
To reach the desired shooting locations along the enchanting California coast, we'll need transportation to and from Loyola Marymount University. This entails covering expenses for gas and renting vans.
4. SUBMISSION FEES
We'd be thrilled for our film to reach a broader audience beyond LMU! The fees for submitting to film festivals throughout the country vary, typically ranging from $45 to $120, depending on the festival's popularity.
*All donors will be credited as associate producers
