It could’ve been me or you, my family or yours. To say that Brian and Mary are the average family next door is an understatement. Brian is a 42 year old hard working family man. An Engineer for Hybrid Technologies for over the past 10 years. Before that a Youth Pastor along with his wife, Mary, for New Wine Church, in Crestline California. Married together for 15 years, they have two incredible children. A boy and a girl -ages 12, and 4. Being a homeschool teacher and mother, Mary has been able to care for their children and be very helpful in the community when there is a need. They always have something to share with the many friends and family members that know their door is always open.

And then EVERYTHING changed! Did you just blink? Because that’s how quickly the universe turned upside down for this poor family....in the blink of an eye! On September 22, 2016 Brian was driving home to be with his family, when a driver coming the opposite direction veered into his lane, hitting him, and another driver head on. Brian suffered a Petit Mal Seizure after hitting the windshield and became unresponsive. Emergency Personnel had to break a window just to get to him. Thank the Lord he survived! Due to the seizure, his drivers license may be taken away, and is waiting to do some tests so they can determine the outcome. He is still in a lot of pain, especially in his neck and spine, and is having trouble standing for any length of time. One doctor told him in regards to his healing, "You have a long journey ahead of you."
Brian was an independent contractor, so unfortunately he isn't eligible for Unemployment benefits. While waiting a unknown length of time and not knowing the outcome of the insurance decisions, bills are racking up and they are having to pay for medical expenses out of pocket. They are being told its likely this will take months for anything to transpire. Mary is afraid to leave his side due to him possibly having another seizure. With $0 income coming in and unable to find a job due to injuries, it's making things very uncertain and scary for their family.

Brian and his family are dealing with many hurdles including a rattlesnake bite that Brian was still healing from that happened two months ago. They are trying to keep in good spirits and giving it all to God!
Please. We are asking for your help. Today I'm asking that you can find it in your heart to give something, even small, and possibly to a complete stranger, if for no other reason than because tomorrow you may blink and find you may need help. Thank you and God Bless!
