Help Us Help Cory
      Cory Pryce is 16 years old and lives in Guelph with his mother, Madeleine, who is a single mom. Cory is incredibly kind, thoughtful, funny, driven. He is an excellent student and has his focus on playing football at the Unversity of Guelph when he graduates highschool.  During the 2017 football season Cory, as the quarterback,  led his team to an undefeated season but could not continue playing during the playoffs because of what was assumed to be a pinched nerve in his neck. 
         The pinched nerve was actually a brain tumour which was removed during a long and difficult operation on Nov.23/17. Radiation treatments were to begin on Dec. 27 but had to be postponed as another tumour was discovered on his spine. A second surgery took place on Jan 10/18. Cory is currently waiting to start daily radiation treatments which will consists of 33 radiation treatments over 6 weeks and 2 weeks of boost treatments. 
     This has been a very difficult time for Cory and his mother. Madeleine is a single mom and has missed a great deal of work to support Cory's surgeries and treatments. Frequent trips to McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton have resulted in a loss of income for Madeleine and the daily radiation treatments over the next couple of months will also be challenging. 
My son is a close friend of Cory's and I have worked with Madeleine's support to set up this page. 
Please help us support Cory and his mother to get through this challenging time.
