CALLIE was made redundant after 14 years with the same company. She thought it would be easy to get another job, but this has not proved to the the case. She is currently being trained at a world-renowed dogs and cats "animal home" which, hopefully, will lead to a permanent job. At present she has no regular income and is danger of losing her home if she cannot keep up with the mortgage and other bills.
Callie is a "single" pet parent who has four kitties dependant on her. She is keeping her head only just above the water and could do with some financial help until she secures a permanent job. As with so many applications for jobs for which she has applied, the companies do not even give her the courtesy of a reply.
Callie has no living family and is dependant on friends for help. This is not something she relishes as she has always been able to pay her way. Her pride is very hurt.
If any of you could help with a donation, however small, it would raise her spirits wonderfully. I doubt that many of us would relish the thought of a "Cuppa Soup" for our main meal each day? Callie's four furbabies always come first, second and last. But Callie, as their cat Mum, also needs to eat and keep warm.
Travel costs in London are also extremely high and getting to and from her training programme costs not less than £15 a day.
Please, please help if you can and I can assure you that Callie will receive every donation that is made.
