Brian's Medical Fund

I am starting this campaign for my Step-father Brian. After getting rear-ended in a wreck that totalled his car, he went to the hospital for the pain. The doctors found seven broken ribs. They did more tests due to the severity of the injuries and found a large mass in his chest that was making is bones brittle. Since then, he has had several tests and they have narrowed the problem to two seperate types of cancer. In either case he will need chemotherapy in order to fight the advanced-stage cancer.

Brian is the type of guy who has quietly provided for his family through his entire life. I have never once heard him complain about working and he has held a job with the same company since he was 18 years old. He has worked hard his entire life to provide and should not have to worry now about money. Even through he has partial medical insurance, the costs of the tests and treatments will add up quickly.

I started this campaign to get him some help since I know he is the type of guy who won't ask for it himself. He needs to be focused on fighting the cancer without the distraction of paying the medical costs. The amount on here will guarentee that the costs are covered but even if the goal isn't met, every little bit will help them get through this tough time.
