Please help our friend Hani Duglof.
We are seeking support to help Hani with medical and legal defense costs.
Hani came to Minnesota from Libya in 2014 for medical care, applying for asylum right away, and has been waiting patiently for 10 years for an interview with immigration authorities.
32-year-old Hani has Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB), a rare genetic disorder that causes the skin and internal tissue to blister or tear with even minor friction.
Hani's medical condition requires a soft-only diet and daily dressing changes and he's being treated at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital while still in ICE custody, after his family says he could not safely remain in a detention facility.
Please consider making a donation to help Hani in this difficult time.
All donations will be distributed to Hani’s brother Mohamed who will administer them for Hani’s legal defense and medical costs.
Note: this fundraiser is hosted at both gofundme and givesendgo. Same admins, Chris and Mohamed, same cause; helping Hani Duglof.
