Devastating and deadliest flood triggered by incessant rainfall has created havoc in most of the Tarai districts as floods have swept away river banks, taken numerous lives, ruined livelihoods of many Tarai dwellers and destroyed rice crops.

Floods have inundated thousands of houses, leaving families without food and shelter. Flood victims are either displaced or are taking shelters at their relatives’ houses.
