Hi! My name is Brenna. The purpose of this gofundme is to collect funds in one place for the families that I am currently helping in Gaza.

About me/About the cause:

I’ve been advocating for Gaza throughout this tragic 600 days and watched as hundreds of thousands of innocent people have been murdered or seriously injured without proper medical attention. I have decided to help more directly as the U.S. government repeatedly shows us it won’t be easing up on arms and money transfers and the UN and ICC continue to show us their inability to stop this horror.

If we don’t have governments in place that can protect human beings, we can at least help each other. We have to do what we can for each other and right now, people in Gaza are starving and need money for any food they can get.

Goal of this gofundme:

I am currently raising money for my friend's family in Gaza. Alaa is a widow with a 2 year old son. Her husband was tragically martyred in the gen*cide. She is one of 8 people in her family. They have been displaced several times and are now living in a tent in North Gaza in an area under heavy bombardment. The funds we are raising are for food and basic needs.

In the past, I have donated to a family of 5 children in Khan Younis, a father in North Gaza raising 11 children - 3 of which have cerebral palsy, and a 5 year old in Deir Al-Balah needing medical treatment. I plan to continue helping families like this with future donations.
