Help Emmie get surgeries she NEEDS

Hi everyone.

My name is Isis Hopson. Our family is trying to raise money for our two year old Australian Shepherd, Emmie. She was diagnosed with a cruciate ligament disease. This means she lost her ACLs in both of her knees because they deteriorated. We also found out on, 1/9/2025, that she also has 6 very large kidney stones. She is in a lot of discomfort and pain because of these. Her surgery is scheduled for 1/17/2025. Her kidney surgery is our priority right now, she will have her ACL surgeries scheduled after she recovers.

Emmie is the most loving and well trained girl. She loves to run after her ball and play with her friends. Since her diagnosis, she has not been able to walk on one leg entirely and limping on her other. Her quality of life is going down, she is depressed and starting to show signs of aggression because of her pain. We have a two year old and a 9 month old baby.

Emmie was one of our first babies, we want to do anything and everything we can to try to keep her happy and healthy.

Her kidney surgery will cost $2,200-$3,800 depending on what the Vet says. She has been so uncomfortable and throwing up from pain because of these stone.

For her ACLs our best option to help her is to get both back legs the cruciate surgery. We are not able to afford to fix her knees. After multiple quotes the surgeries are $4k for each knee.

We are not financially able to get these surgeries for her alone. We need help from our community and fellow animal lovers.

An Australian Shepherd rescue told us to put her down. This is simply not something we can do. We love her too dearly.
