The heartbreaking news that a new mommy and daddy have experienced the loss of their newborn infant is always the saddest news to receive.  And just days before Christmas only adds to the devastation.

Their sweet baby Karis, only weeks old, tragically passed away in her sleep Saturday morning.  There isn’t a person you know who hears this and isn’t immediately affected by the sadness that kind of loss brings.  Add to that the exorbitant burial costs these days, and it’s hard to imagine any two people who need our love and support more.  

Any donation, large or small, will be another step closer in helping Emily and Gus bear the burden of this terrible tragedy, if only financially.  The kindness of others is all we really have in these moments. Let’s give a moment of relief, however brief, to the Leslie’s.
