My name is Evra and I am a biracial non-binary transfemme living in the UK. I made this gofundme to pay for hormones and transition procedures such as lazer hair removal.
The UK Gender Identity Clinic under the NHS have waiting times of 3 - 4 years before getting any treatment. Most trans people (including me) cannot wait that long as dysphoria is extremely detrimental to our mental health, so of course I want to start hormones as soon as possible! Donations will go to joining a private practice that can prescribe me hormones, and other procedures such as laser hair removal.
I have been trying to save to get hormones from a private practice for about a year now, but my current circumstances have made it impossible. I've just moved to London where I will be attending university in September, but despite being on Universal Credit I still struggle to pay rent and the rising prices of bills, let alone grocery shopping or travel. Any donations will firstly be used to pay bills, but the rest used for lazer hair removal, hormones, and blockers.
