Duane Farmer suffered a heart attack o/a 17 May 2015 at 58 years old, which led to him getting a Quadruple bypass surgery, hours before being released from the Hospital, Duane suffered a stroke which has caused serious damage to the right side of his brain. Duane is currently at a short term rehabilitation clinic in Kentucky fighting everyday not just for his life but to recover. Duane is currently not in close proximity to his family and hasn't received the care he deserves. The family has exhausted all efforts in supporting their dad from a distance and now are in a position where for him to recover he needs to move closer to family and into a better facility. Insurance will not cover the trip for him to move from Kentucky to California where his next of kin Jay Farmer is currently residing and into a better rehabilitation clinic. Also, there are legal cases that need to begin to get Duane the best care he can and also to take care of of his personal estates (e.g. Secure his belongings). The doctors believe he can make a recovery but not in his current location due to lack of support. Duane has time and time again been known as a person that would give his shirt of his back to assist someone, always putting others wellbeing ahead of his own.
