Donovan's Summer Vocal Programs -- Three Weeks at Interlochen Arts Camp (located in Michigan), Two Weeks with Washington National Opera (located in Washington, D.C.) and Multiple Sessions with Levine School of Music (located in DC, MD, VA). Program and travel costs total more than $7,000 combined.

BACKGROUND
At the age of 7 -- my son, Donovan used to turn mommy's rules into his own songs and walk around the house singing them. It was the cutest thing and I realized he loved to sing at a young age. He joined the church choir... then his elementary school choir in 3rd grade... then became a vocal major in the 6th grade... and now he's a vocal major in the performing arts program at his high school. The years flew by so quickly!
VOCAL PROGRAMS
Ten years later, we are both so excited to see him continue his vocal journey and audition for many great programs. The acceptance letters are coming in, but we can't afford the program costs. With your help, Donovan hopes to have the opportunity to attend these programs and develop his singing talent even further. Maybe even travel abroad as a singer someday! The funds raised will cover the costs of his programs' tuition, vocal training, master classes, room and board, meals, and travel.
GRATEFUL FOR YOUR SUPPORT
COVID took away his opportunity for vocal programs last year; we are thankful to still be here, trying to make Donovan's dreams come true! It would mean so much to both of us to have your support. As a single mom, I haven't been able to give him some of the things I wished he could have in his life... we've struggled so much at times and I hope financial barriers will never again hinder him from pursuing his hopes and dreams. You are "our village" and we know every dream is made possible because of the support from those around us. Even when our pockets are empty -- our hearts stay full from the family, friends, and community willing to give whatever they can to help.
