My name's Vicki Basham and I'm trying to help my husband Roy Basham with his cancer treatment. Roy has been a part of our family for around 20 years, and in that time he married me, and has been an amazing father to three children. Between 2004-2006, Roy served in Iraq for eighteen months, where he survived an IED attack and suffered a neck injury, as well as ongoing PTSD that he still struggles with today. He has always been there for his family and any friends who have needed him, and now we're returning the favor.

For the past year, he has been battling nasopharyngeal carcinoma. His physicians believe that this particular cancer formed due to exposure to chemicals during his deployment to Iraq. After enduring taxing chemotherapy and radiation treatments, he was recently given the all-clear from his doctors, but unfortunately the cancer was not entirely cured. We're now worried that the cancer has spread, but are not giving up without a fight.

Our family is now looking into alternative treatment methods outside of chemotherapy, which compromised Roy's immune system and left him debilitated for months.

The money from this campaign will go towards any treatment and travel expenses he needs. We would all be greatly appreciative of any help we can get towards fighting this battle!
