Help Denise Beat Cancer!

It’s hard to imagine we have to write this, let alone for our sister. Denise who is only 35 years old and despite no family history or other risk factors,  has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

We are in shock and devastated at the news to say the least.  She starts chemo next week which will go on for 4-6 months and is ready to beat this.

The funds we raise for Denise will help support her and her family-a loving husband, Shaun, her sweet step daughter, Saydee, her four year old daughter, Nova and her two year old son, Cashen.

Denise has opted for a double mastectomy at the end of her treatment and depending how her genetic test results come back, she may also need a hysterectomy. She will be unable to work at various times during chemo and as she recovers from surgery, so your donation will help cover their expenses when her income disappears (she is a self employed hair dresser and does not qualify for disability).  

She also will have many appointments and need care for her children so your donation will also help with childcare costs.

Obviously, even with great insurance, cancer is expensive- one scan alone is $1,100, so your donation will help offset her medical bills as well.
