Liebe Fans von Zeitgenössischem Tanz,
die Tänzer*innen von morgen brauchen Eure Hilfe!
Seit der Corona-Krise haben viele Tanzschüler*innen ernsthafte Schwierigkeiten, ihre Schulgebühren und Lebenshaltungskosten zu bestreiten: ihre Familien zuhause können sie oft nicht mehr unterstützen und auch ihre kleinen Jobs vor Ort sind weggebrochen. Vielversprechende Talente müssen ihre Ausbildung abbrechen, aber ohne einfach nach Hause zurückkehren zu können, wo sie außerdem auch keine weitere Perspektive haben. Damit wird ihr Berufsleben im Keim zerstört. Tanz ist ihr Leben - und wir alle brauchen mehr Kunst um uns, das spüren wir gerade in Zeiten der digitalen Kommunikation!
Um ihre persönlichen Daten zu schützen, veröffentlichen wir keine Namen und Bilder konkreter Notfälle, bei denen wir um Hilfe gebeten wurden. Wir, Iwanson International, sind eine der größten privaten Akademien für zeitgenössischen Tanz in Europa mit Student*innen aus der ganzen Welt. Unsere engagierten und hochqualifizieren Lehrer*innen tun, was sie können um ihre Schüler*innen zu unterstützen. Iwanson International hat bereits die Schulgebühren gesenkt - aber natürlich wollen wir auch die Lehrer*innen in Brot und Lohn halten!
Darum bitten wir um Eure Unterstützung für die Künstler*innen von morgen. Jeder Cent geht an die Student*innen, und jeder noch so kleine Beitrag hilft. Ein/e Tanzschüler*in braucht bis zum Ende dieses Ausbildungsjahres noch monatlich 595,- €. Wir möchten so viele Student*innen wie möglich unterstützen, aber unser erstes Spendenziel beträgt 20.000,- €. Wer möchte, kann auch Pate oder Patin eines/einer Schüler*in werden und dessen gesamte Kosten für den Rest des Ausbildungsprogrammes decken.

tomorrow's dancers need your help!
Since the Corona crisis, many young dance students face serious difficulties paying their fees and living costs because their families can't support them any more and their student jobs have folded. Promising talents might have to stop their training, but can't go back home easily either and don't have another training perspective if they do.Their professional lives as dancers could be over before they had a chance to get started. But dancing is all they want to do -and we need more art wherever possible!
To protect their personal data, we don't publish names and pictures of single cases who have come up to us and asked for help.
We, Iwanson International, are a contemporary dance academy in Munich and welcome students from around the world. Our dedicated and highly professional team does everything they can to support their students. Iwanson International has already reduced the school fees, but of course - the teachers need their jobs as well!
So please support tomorrow's artists with a contribution, big or small, which we will pass on to the students in need, penny for penny. Every little bit helps.
To support a student for the rest of his or her dance year, a students needs 595,- € monthly. We would like to support as many students as possible, but our first funding goal is 20.000,- €. If you wish, you can also become the godfather or godmother of a single student by covering the costs for the rest of the school-year.
