Cristin's fight with cancer began in November of 2014 when a spot showed up on her right breast. Within a month, the spot tripled in size. She was diagnosed with a very aggressive and fast growing form of cancer--Breast Cancer HER2. Over the last 9 months, Cristin has been through extensive chemo and radiation treatments. The cancer has now shown up in her spine, has paralyzed her lower body, and has led to 5+ weeks in the hospital. She has had multiple treatments of radiation to try to keep the paralysis from completely taking over her body. This week, it has begun to affect her lungs.

Possibly in the last lap of her life, Cristin's one wish is to get out of the hospital and go home. She wants to be with her daughter, her beloved pets, and familiar surroundings. At this stage, she is unable to be home without in-home, around-the-clock care. Hospice will only provide 24/7 care in the last 1-2 weeks of life. With all available money spent, there are no funds to provide the care she needs.

It is heartbreaking to watch someone so young embrace the reality of what she is facing. We are praying for a miracle. Even in the midst of such difficulty, we have seen our Lord's hand at work. We are believing and trusting in our sovereign God.
