Help Coach Phil and his family

As some of you may have heard, a very close family member of Phil Sainvil’s passed away this week back home in Haiti, tragically and unexpectedly.  We’d like to help out Phil and his siblings with the costs of traveling to and from Haiti to be with their family in this incredibly difficult time, and with costs related to the funeral and the like.

Many of us have been very lucky over the past few years to come to know Coach Phil (and his brother Angelo, as well) as a youth soccer coach to the children in Soccer Legion,  through the Brooklyn German School, or on soccer fields around NYC.  Phil has been a tremendous coach and mentor to my two sons over the past year, and I’m fortunate myself to have him as a teammate and to consider him a friend, too.

Any support that can be provided in this time of need for Phil and his family would be tremendously appreciated.
