I was involved in a motorcycle accident (3/19). It was a hit and run with no witnesses. Suddenly my life changed in an instant. One second I'm driving straight and the next I'm on my left side sliding 30ft with my bike on top of me. Thankfully a few people stopped and helped me off the road. But now, I'm in constant pain on my left side and having difficulty getting around on my own. I have been to the ER twice and discharged but I am struggling to take care of myself and need to get more medical treatment to determine what damage I sustained in the accident.  I'm in contact with my insurance but have no idea when the claim will be taken care of or when a potential settlement may come in. 
Most of my life and work revolves around me being on my feet and active so this accident has put me behind on multiple levels. I'm not the person to normally ask for help. But this experience has humbled me and forced me to change my perspective. A few friends suggested making this page to give those who ask a way to help me. I realize now that I just can't do this alone. And the only way I can focus on my recovery is with your help. Thank you for reading.
