Hello, my name is Dalia San Martin, friends, family, and even some strangers know me as the founder of Rollerskate and Donate. For years, I’ve organized fundraisers to support charity organizations, local families, and people facing medical hardship. Today, with deep humility, I am asking for help for my sister, Claudia.

Claudia urgently needs a cornea transplant—a long, complex, and extremely expensive procedure. Without insurance to cover these medical costs, it is impossible for her to afford the surgeries, treatments, and months of recovery required to have a chance at saving her sight.

Almost two months ago, Claudia was violently attacked in a terrifying confrontation.

The blows struck Claudia directly in her eyes, the most fragile part of her body. Because she already lived with a delicate eye condition, the damage was devastating. In the first days, doctors feared she might lose her eye entirely. Now, thanks to emergency care and her fighting spirit, there is hope—but only if she receives retina surgery and, most urgently, the cornea transplant.

Beyond the physical injuries, Claudia is suffering from post-traumatic stress and severe anxiety. Their emotional well-being has been deeply affected, adding psychological wounds to an already overwhelming situation.

Claudia cannot work, and the financial burden of surgeries, trauma therapy, and ongoing care is far more than we, her sisters ( and ONLY Family) can carry alone. That is why I am reaching out—to friends, to strangers, and to anyone with a compassionate heart.

Hola, mi nombre es Dalia San Martín; amigos, familiares e incluso algunas personas que no me conocen directamente saben de mí como la fundadora de Rollerskate and Donate. Durante años he organizado recaudaciones y he donado mi propio cabello para apoyar a pacientes con cáncer, familias locales y personas que enfrentan dificultades médicas. Hoy, con profunda humildad, pido ayuda para mi hermana, Claudia.

Claudia necesita con urgencia un trasplante de córnea: un procedimiento largo, complejo y extremadamente costoso. Sin un seguro que cubra estos gastos médicos, le es imposible costear las cirugías, los tratamientos y los meses de recuperación necesarios para tener una oportunidad real de salvar su vista.

Hace casi dos meses, Claudia fue atacada violentamente en una confrontación aterradora.

Los golpes impactaron directamente los ojos de Claudia, la parte más frágil de su cuerpo. Debido a que ya vivía con una condición ocular delicada, el daño fue devastador. En los primeros días, los médicos temían que pudiera perder el ojo por completo. Ahora, gracias a la atención de emergencia y a su espíritu de lucha, existe esperanza, pero solo si recibe cirugía de retina y, sobre todo, el trasplante de córnea.

Más allá de las lesiones físicas, Claudia esta sufriendo estrés postraumático y ansiedad severa. Su bienestar emocional ha sido profundamente afectado, añadiendo heridas psicológicas a una situación ya de por sí abrumadora.

Claudia no puede trabajar, y la carga financiera de cirugías, terapia de trauma y atención continua es mucho más de lo que sus hermanas, podemos afrontar solas. Por eso recurro a ustedes: amigos, desconocidos y cualquier persona de buen corazón.
