Help Chuck and his Family fight cancer
Donation protected

March 1st of this year, Chuck went to the ER with abdominal pain and vomiting. It was quickly discovered he had an intestinal mass and would require emergency surgery. It was then that the mass was first suspected to be cancerous. On March 8th, he then became septic and required a second emergency surgery. It was touch and go, but as the Chuck we all know and love, he conquered.
On March 27th, he was released to go home. But, had to return to the hospital, 6 hours round trip, 3x’s a week for wound treatments. As of May 4th, chuck is back in the hospital for a 3rd surgery to fix a small leak that didn’t close properly from his 2nd surgery.
Chuck has been diagnosed with a cancer called, Well Differentiated Neuroendocrine Tumor. His treatment, will require him to take a shot for the rest of his life, however long that may be.
Once he has recovered, Chuck will be going back to work. But, as you can imagine, his recovery will take months. This has not only been emotionally taxing, but financially draining on the Paasche Family, as Chuck is the main provider.
Chuck is a very dedicated family and community man. He loves to golf, fish and hunt. He is the director for the Pahrump Valley Rodeo Club. Not only working for his kids, but all rodeo kids. He is a volunteer driver for Nye County Ambulance and has plans to work towards his EMT certification. He is also a part of the Round Mountain Mine Rescue Team.
The entire family loves living and working in Round Mountain. This is our time to pull together and return the love to the Paasche’s!
