Hey Everyone,
Most of you probably do not know this but Chris Avery was hospitalized on Monday 11/9/15 after a pretty horrific cycling accident in which he suffered a broken right clavicle and left femur, not to mention a whole lot of road rash, bumps and bruises.
Chris and I were riding just outside Boulder, CO and were on our way home after a beautiful and scenic bike ride. As we were making our way down a very long/fast descent, Chris took a corner carrying too much speed, lost traction with the road, went down and struck the side of an oncoming car.
Emergency responders were on the scene within minutes and transported Chris to the hospital where he has already undergone surgery to set his femur. I was with him the entire time and was able to meet with his mother Dee, who flew out the next day before I had to return home.

He has a very long road to recovery from this injury ( 6 to 9 months) and it will most likely have an effect on his life for years to come. Chris is lucky to have family and friends who care about him very much and there are already a couple of people in the area who have volunteered to help Chris with his recovery once he is home from the hospital.

I am creating this fundraiser for Chris and his family to help them with the financial burden of hospital bills, travel, recovery, food, time out of work and to help Chris get back on his feet with his belongings that were destroyed in the accident.
Chris and his family would never ask for help themselves which is why I am asking you to please help by making a small donation for Chris and his family.
Thank You Everyone!
