Help a Veteran fix his dog
Hi, my name is Benjamin Moore
On 10-26-2016 Chewie was out being his usual goofball and took a tumble and would not put any weight on his leg. After an emergency trip to the vet and some sedated X-rays I found out that Chewie had torn his cranial cruciate ligament in his knee. This ligament is the dog equivalent of the ACL in humans. Because of this Chewie needs surgery. The surgery is going to cost approximately $2000 here and does not include physical therapy and/or any medications that he will need to be on. When they sent him home the next morning I was heartbroken because this dog is my life and has been through me through thick and thin. I'm a Veteran that depends upon Chewie being my co-pilot through life and even though I work 6 days a week and go to college full time I cannot save up enough money to pay for his surgery and physical therapy.
Any donation is very deeply appreciated and will warm my heart to know that there are kind people out there who love dogs as much as I do.
I thank you all from the bottom of my humble heart.
