"For Lynsey Timm, horses are not just a hobby—they are her heartbeat. Lynsey has spent nearly 10 years building Cherry Creek Farm from scratch, pouring her soul into every day with the horses. This farm is her daily reality and her primary lifestyle. Now, a decade of hard work is facing its greatest challenge.

The Impact of the Flood

Recent flooding has devastated the world Lynsey has spent a decade building. While her first instinct was the safety of the 29 horses who depend on her, the damage to her family home and farm infrastructure is overwhelming."

The manager at Cherry Creek Farm has been my best friend since childhood, and I’ve never seen her face anything as devastating as the catastrophic flooding that recently struck her home and farm. The floodwaters damaged her house, barns, and every outbuilding, leaving behind a heartbreaking mess that will take months to clean up. The house itself needs extensive repairs—insulation, drywall, HVAC, and the septic system are all affected. Freezers and thousands of dollars worth of meat were lost, and the garage, barns, and outbuildings all require urgent attention.

The Cherry Creek Farm family—has shown incredible strength, doing backbreaking labor to keep the 29 horses at Cherry Creek Farm safe and trying to minimize the damage to their land and equipment. Field fencing and flood gates need repairs, including a bridge that takes the horses out to pasture. The loss is truly catastrophic for this family, and the road to recovery will be long and difficult.

I’m asking for your help to support Cherry Creek Farm and family as they rebuild their home and farm. Every donation will go directly toward repairs, supplies, and caring for the horses. Even offers of physical labor or support are deeply appreciated. Please join me in rallying around Cherry Creek Farm —your kindness can make all the difference in helping this family get back on their feet.
