Help Us Save Charlie After a Tragic Accident

Hi, we’re Scott and Mandy, and we’re reaching out for help during an incredibly painful time.

Our sweet rescue dog, Charlie, was recently the victim of a hit-and-run. He was hit by a car that didn’t stop, leaving him with a broken elbow and a dislocated hip. The injuries are severe, and without urgent surgery, Charlie may never walk properly again—or worse. The cost for his surgery and care is estimated at $8,000, which we simply can’t cover on our own.

Charlie came into our lives just this past year and quickly became part of our family. He’s goofy, loving, and full of life. More than that, he’s been a huge emotional support—especially to Scott, who is currently fighting stage 4 colorectal cancer.

This tragedy couldn’t have come at a worse time. Just last week, Scott’s mother passed away, and not long before that, our other beloved dog Velvet lost her battle with cancer. Our hearts are broken, and Charlie’s companionship has been one of the few sources of light keeping us going.

We’re doing everything we can, but we need help to give Charlie the care he deserves. Your donation will go directly toward:

  • Emergency surgery for Charlie’s elbow and hip
  • Post-surgical care and rehabilitation
  • Medications and follow-up vet visits

Whether you can donate or simply share this page, please know how much it means to us. Your kindness can truly save Charlie’s life and help bring a little hope back into ours.

Thank you so much,
Scott, Mandy,
& Charlie
