My name is Sandra and I met my closest friend, Carrie, while we were serving in the U.S. Navy together 23 years ago.  Carrie recently received the devastating diagnoses of invasive breast cancer on November 2, 2020.  (2020 has not been kind to very many people.)  Carrie is not only a U.S. Navy Veteran, she is also the wife of an active duty U.S. Navy Sailor, a momma to four beautiful children of her own, a foster momma and a hardworking Labor and Delivery Nurse.  

On Tuesday, Carrie and her husband, Tony, will meet with the general surgeon to come up with a plan of care.  Unfortunately, that may include Carrie being out of work to protect her immune system while she undergoes treatment.  

Carrie is a wonderful person with an enormous heart who always gives to those who are in need, whether it be to family, friends, or complete random strangers she meets in public.  Please consider helping her continue to meet the needs of her family if you are able.  Your kindness is greatly appreciated!
