Help Bryan & His Family Fight Cancer

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Autumn, and I am writing this on behalf of my mother and stepfather Bryan in regards to my stepfather's terminal cancer diagnosis. Between September - December of 2019, my stepfather Bryan was misdiagnosed on various occasions with infections and placed on several different medications to combat it. After several trips to clinics, a referral to a Urologist was finally made. In January of 2020, within minutes of his initial appointment he was diagnosed with Penile Cancer and an urgent referral to Princess Margaret Hospital (Toronto, ON) was made for treatment for Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Since his initial diagnosis in January, Bryan has undergone two surgeries to remove the cancerous cells, have preventative measures implemented and has completed chemotherapy and radiation (although his treatment plan was delayed as a result of COVID-19). At his recent followup appointment in October 2020, the results of the CT Scan showed that the cancer has metastasized placing him in Stage IV and that it has spread to his lungs. Doctors at Princess Margaret Hospital have only ever seen 5 patients with this form of cancer- Bryan being the youngest. As a result, it is no longer believed that conventional treatments (such as prolonged chemotherapy and radiation) will help and have given him approximately 12 months left to live. At home, Bryan has a wife, Kate Fordyce, as well as three children of their own, Jacob, Ava and myself. They have also recently taken on guardianship of my younger sister’s best friend. Each of the children have their own special needs and are especially struggling to come to terms with the devastating news that we have received. After conducting our own research and consulting with physicians outside of Canada, we have found alternative treatment methods that sound extremely promising on the condition that they begin quickly. After speaking virtually with both Bryan and Kate and reviewing Bryan's medical records, the doctors at Arcadia Praxisklinik Cancer Treatment Center in Germany are confident they can treat and help control Bryan's condition. The treatment would include consultations with leading physicians, medical testing & check ups, dark field microscopy, ultrasounds, bioelectrical impedance analysis, an HRV-stress test, a full body mineral and heavy metal test, local deep hyperthermia, whole body hyperthermia, laboratory tests, laser therapy (PDT) and IHT. It will also include different kinds of infusions, oxygen-/ozone therapy, magnetic field therapy, lever packing, detox programs, lymph massage and PEMF.It is recommended he start with a 4 week treatment, but that may be extended depending on his progress. The cost for 4 weeks treatment is €36000 (euros). If it is necessary for him to extend his treatment, this fee will only increase.Bryan is currently the sole provider for our family. Therefore, in order to be able to send my stepfather to his treatment, financial support is desperately needed.Money received will go towards the medical treatments and associated travel costs to get him there, such as airline tickets, legal documentations, lodging while in quarantine and food. If any extra funds are received they will be used towards the maintained continuity of his treatment and support of the children/household. Our plan is to get Bryan and his mother Sheila, who will act as his caregiver while traveling, to Germany as soon as possible. His wife Kate, will remain home to look after the children and handle the financial aspects of his care.Any contribution that you are able to make, whether it be through the donation of funding or simply sharing this would be greatly appreciated not only by Bryan, but all those supporting him through the endeavours he has to face.
