Help Breno Get To Saftey

I have known Breno for a long time. He is an immigrant from Brazil however, he was brought to the United States when he was 3 years old by his mother.  From the time he was 3 until a couple months ago, he lived as an American. He went to school here, worked and paid taxes here, created a life here. When he was a teenager, like most, he made some stupid mistakes and got in trouble with the law. These problems were supposed to be "erased" from his record. Now, this doesn't sound like a big deal and it wouldn't be to a normal US citizen. The problem is, the proper paperwork was never filled out for Breno when he came to this country at 3 years old. Needless to say, he never became a legal citizen. Since he got in some trouble as a teen, this was a red flag for deportation. After years of fighting and over $60,000 in lawyer fees, Breno was deported a couple months ago back to Brazil. Taken from his wife, his child, his family, his friends, his life. Saturday morning, Breno was attacked. Robbed, stabbed and shot. He was brought to a hospital where they "stitched" him up and sent him home. Where he face timed me because he was alone and didn't know what to do, as he bled and bled in his bathroom. If you didn't know, hospitals in Brazil, at least where he is, aren't anything like ours. They just don't care. He was targeted because, although he is Brazilian, they consider him an American. In the part of Brazil, he is in, they hate Americans. In a video he posted on Facebook after the incident, you can hear gunfire in the background. This is something that happens every day right outside where he's living. He is alone, he cannot read or write Portuguese, this makes it incredibly difficult to get a job. If he can even get past the fact, especially now after the incident, if he leaves his house, he will be attacked. They don't want him there. He doesn't belong there. America is his home. We are raising money so Breno can move out of that area into a safer place in Portugal, where his wife has family, where he can recover from his attack, get the proper paperwork to find a job, and get back on his feet. Breno is a good kid and a hard worker. He doesn't deserve to live scared and alone every day because somebody didn't file papers when he was just a child. Please, anything you can offer is a big help. Hopefully, together we can save his life because essentially if he stays where he is...he won't make it. He will leave his wife widowed and son without a father. Please help Breno stay safe and get back on his feet so he can be reunited with his family and try to live a happy and normal life. He wants to see his son grow up. He wants to be by his wives side. He wants to be home. On behalf of his family and friends, thank you in advance for whatever you can offer.
