From my Land to Thailand

My name is Lawrence "Binkey" Tolefree and Im from the southside of Chicago!! Im a teaching artist (mentor, MC, spoken word artist, actor, comedian, host, beatboxer and lover of all things dope!)
I was adopted when I was 2 months old by Lawrence 22 and Judith Tolefree 19 and they already had 2 kids of there own! they went on to adopt 3 more and raise a neice and nephew along with a slew of foster kids and pretty much anyone who needed help!
I say all that to say this...I was blessed to see what just showing someone you care can do.
Ive been accepted to a program (Casa DeLa Artistas) where I have the opportunity to go over seas for the FIRST time to Thailand to teach art and music to children who arent even considered Thai, based on the fact they never receive papers. (id,birth certificate...)
There is a system in place thats not conducive to their success and thats an all too familiar way of life where Im from.
I just want to give onto others whats been given to me.
