HOSPITAL BED FOR BIG JOE

Joseph is one of Gods special children. He was born with multiple medical issues and has had numerous surgeries. We were told he would never walk or talk and had a life expectancy of 6 months.  Joseph has defied all of those things. He loved school, fishing, playing sports,participating in the special Olympics, graduated high school and went on to college and graduated with a business certificate. He never let any of his medical issues stop him from enjoying life. He always has a kind word and a contagious smile for everyone he meets. Joseph loved waking up every morning and going to work. He never allowed his disabilities to stop him. Unfortunately, 5 years ago Joe went in for surgery to have veins removed from his leg and had multiple complications. Since then Joes health has been deteriorating. The past 5 years have consisted of constant hospitalizations and numerous nursing home stays due to the fact he needs 24 hour nursing care. His family found a medical based group home for him and fought Mass health for a year to get him medical equiptment. So he moved in and within a month he was back in the hospital and now in a nursing home due to the fact the hospital bed supplied is inappropriate for joes health. Joe cannot move back until he has a proper bed so he can start his treatment for Stage 3 lymphedema { lymphostatic elephantiasis}. Which leaves him unable to walk most days and in extreme pain. Joe has not lost hope to return to work some day. Please find it in your heart to help Joe get a bed. Thank you and God bless.
