Help Bethany Fight Cancer

I made this fund for my little sister, Bethany, in hopes of raising enough to help with medical bills and treatment and helping her to make more memories with her three baby girls. At age 30, Bethany was diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer when she was pregnant with her youngest child, In the beginning the odds didn’t look good, the aggressive cancer didn’t take long to turn into stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Doctors gave Bethany 5 years max. However, with weekly chemotherapy (bad enough to be called “Devils Blood”) and 10 surgeries, against all odds, her scan showed NO cancer. Doctors wouldn’t say remission because that was impossible, but there it was! The great news didn’t last long, it came back in her bones. After more chemotherapy and radiation (giving her severe burns) once again she showed no signs of active cancer, but has a huge hole in her bone where the tumor was. Once again it came back, doctors giving her a 10% chance to make it 3 years. Bethany is strong and we know with the right treatment she can prove them wrong again Now at age 35 the effects of the chemotherapy have taken a toll. She cries herself to sleep many nights from the pain. The pain medicine slightly works but is very expensive, not to mention the cost of chemotherapy. The chemo has also damaged her eyes to the point of needing surgery, another $4000. She needs tests done on the tumors to help better fight them, another $1000. Also if we can raise enough we can get her into studies that show promising results, but of course not here in the US. Bethany’s three girls are her entire life, ages 4, 9 and 10. The most important thing to Bethany is spending as much time with and making as many memories as possible with her babies. She will tell you her heart hurts most because she’s afraid she may not be able to raise her girls. She has dedicated her entire life to her children. Please help Bethany in anyway that you can. I know times are different for everyone now, but whatever you are comfortable with, anything helps. We need so many miracles and they could have a great family vacation.
