My sister Becky Godfrey is without a doubt the most vibrant person that I, or anyone who’s ever come into contact with her, have ever met. She loves with her whole heart and then some - which is why any tragedy surrounding her hurts so badly.

Becky was recently diagnosed with the same cancer that we lost our mom to only 2.5 years ago. Luckily, we caught it much earlier than Mom’s, but it’s still going to be a long road to recovery. At only 45, we’re determined and very hopeful that her body will be strong enough to fight this off and live to fight another day.

After having to shut down Vintage for months and still not being able to open to capacity, most of the reserves have been spent keeping the business afloat - leaving little personal funds to afford the expensive doctors and treatments (even with insurance) that this is going to take. And though I tend to lean toward privacy, in this non-normal world, the only choice seems to be a public plea. 

I know that most people are hurting financially right now - but I’m still asking for help. Please contribute whatever you can to help Becky fight this horrible disease - and stay entertaining and laughing with and supporting you everyday, whether that’s from behind the bar or any of the multitude of ways she touches peoples’ lives. And as a personal plea, my soon-to-be-born son really needs his aunt around and in full health so he can be even 1/4 as funny and lively as she is.
