Autumn’s Spinal Surgery
Donation protected
Our daughter Autumn Leader was diagnosed with a rare bone disease, Morquio Syndrome (MPS Type IV) at age one. It is a disease in which her body lacks an enzyme that breaks down sugar, leading to severe issues with bone development. Since then she has undergone numerous medical procedures including testing, weekly infusions, two major hip surgeries, countless MRIs and doctors visits. We have recently been told she needs a major spinal surgery that will include fusion of her T4-T7 vertebrae and may include the fusion of her C1-C2 vertebrae.
Autumn is the strongest girl we know. She has been through so much in her 13 years. We know she will overcome this surgery and recovery courageously just like she has every other one!
Autumn’s Mother, Sylina, will not be able to work while Autumn is recovering. She will spend at least 5-7 Days in the hospital as well as 6 months of recovery and physical therapy. Sylina currently juggles working full time, raising 3 girls, and running to and from Autumn’s Dr’s appointments. She needs a HUGE financial miracle to make this work. We know nothing is too great for our God and that He is her provider. It is His joy to give her everything she needs.
Please join us in campaigning for financial help for our family during this difficult time.
We by no means want to make anyone feel obligated to give. But if you feel lead to help, we would be so appreciative.
