Help Autumn hear better!!

Hello! My name is Bambi Guilbeau and the little girl on the "cat" as she called it, is Autumn! Autumn is my 7 year old daughter, she's our oldest of three :) The amount of joy she brings to our lives is countless. Not to say it's an easy life by any means but it's ours, and we know that God has perfectly designed it this way and chosen us to be her parents! Although life is tough, especially with not only one disability but two, (has a bilateral hearing loss/deaf & also has autism) Autumn is one of the most joyful people I know. When easily she could choose otherwise! She always finds joy in the simple and everyday in life. She sees things with a different perspective! She finds beauty and awe in the most mundane things! She's taught everyone who has been touched by her to see through her eyes and that EVERYTHING is about perspective! The video above is a huge encouragement and blessing for our family to have documented for sacred memories! Little things like speech/communication that is often taken for granted is definitely praised and cherished in this household! For the longest our Autumn never spoke/nor signed a word. Most of you will hopefully never experience nor understand the amount of heartache and suffering this brings, but with that suffering.... comes a lot of rejoicing and joy for the many prayers that have finally been answered with our girl! The amount of support has been astounding and does not go unnoticed! With family, friends, organizations, businesses, Dr.'s, therapist, teachers, interpreters, and the list goes on.... All these people and things have helped mold Autumn into the beautiful, creative, vibrant, and head strong girl she is today! Today, I'm asking that our village of support help us again! This time financially. I know it's a bold move but it's a plea from a momma for her child, to hear better with less obstacles to overcome. Cochlear has now come out with a new implant that is only one magnetic piece. An all in one. No more of anything hanging on her ear aggravating her. Especially with the sensory issues with the autism. If she want to tumble, like she enjoys doing. The part that hooks on her ear won't flop off, because it's not there. If she wants to jump on the trampoline or have a wrestle war, both of which she enjoys.... she can do that freely without worrying about her implant flying off! This new implant would allow Autumn to do the things she enjoys without the worries that most never have to think twice about! The cost for the implant is $4495.00. Insurance does not cover it. And Cochlear is only offering it at a discounted rate until Feb 2017 to those who recently upgraded from the Cochlear 5 to the Cochlear 6. Had much better sound.... so we don't have much time to get the needed funds before it switches to normal price. Unknown at this time. I know her one she has now is about $9500.00 to replace so it would be at least that if not more. So please help us reach our goal by Feb 2017! All donations will receive a piece of Autumn's Art!Help make a difference! (Go Fund me takes 5% of each donation so we did 5250 to account for the fees)Love,The Guilbeaus
