Help Ashanti Heal

My mom, Ashanti ,has been diagnosed with a rare and incurable disease. We are raising funds to help with her medical expenses and also to send her to Optimum Health Institute for alternative treatment.

Most of you know that my mom, Ashanti, was the picture of health before she became ill. She worked as a NICU nurse at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, loved spending time with family and friends, and especially loved working out. She now spends the majority of her day in bed and has been unable to work for the past 11 months.

My mom is a single mother taking care of me and my younger brother. She has tried to keep things as normal as possible for both me and my brother. She continues to pay for my college education at Penn State and my brother's extracurricular activities like baseball. Being unable to work and only receiving disability benefits has created a tremendous financial strain. At this point, my mom has exhausted her savings and we are asking for help to offset her medical expenses.
