Dear GoFunder's, Friends, Family, Facebookers, Twitterers... anyone. My horse Apollo is very sick right now and we both need some assistance.
Apollo got bitten by a brown recluse spider back in January 2015. He became very sick, and lost 300 lbs. He started to get better, and then just friday the 3rd of March got Cellulitis. upon having the vet check blood and also collegues at UCDavis, they also now feel he has internal Pigeon Fever, which is very very bad due to internal abscessing.
Apollo was rescued by me in about 2006. he was skinny and needed some love and attention. he quickly settled in and gained weight and was a happy man ! (he is 21 yrs old right now).
Anyway..I do gainfully work full time and have tried to keep up with all the bills, and such but I have to break it down and be honest that I need some assistance with the Vet bills that are accruing and soon to be higher. I have lost alot of my rescued non human family as I rescue older non adoptable non humans as much as I can.
Any assistance that the world out there can provide to help me get Apollo the proper meds and most important if he needs hospitalization. I and he so much appreciate any consideration of assistance to help him get better.
