My name is Mikhail Guz and I am a professional ballet and folk dancer as well as a  dance teacher. I came to America to seek a better working and life experience. For the past 12 years, it has been a bumpy ride for me, constantly working, learning, fighting for the well being, but never giving up. 

Today life threw a new challenge my way. My youngest sister, who is only 29 years old, is dying from a rare disease (Wegener’s granulomatosis). When I heard the news, my heart stop bitting for a moment. She is too young to die! Despite severity of the disease, there is very small chance that she can live, given that we can find the right form of medications, which she will have to administer for the rest of her life. If there even a small chance that she can live, I will take it. My sister name is Anna, due to her illness, she currently can’t work. She has no one by her side, besides a few very close friends, who try to help us, as much as they can, to take her in and out from the hospital, where she is undergoing medical treatments. 

Above everything else, I appreciate the love, support and preyers. That is what will help me get through this challenge.
