Hello everyone,

After paying my Car Note, Car Insurance, Rent, Utilities and a few other bills for the months of June and July, I have exhausted all of the fundraiser donations as of Saturday 7/12/25.

I recently experienced a slip and fall accident during my vacation in Washington D.C., during Memorial Weekend which resulted in a broken fibula of my left ankle and I had to be rushed to the emergency room on Monday, May 26. The injury was so severe that I was refferred to an Ortopedic surgeon to discuss surgery which required me to receive a metal plate and screws or risk having complications in the long run which could include amputation. I completed the surgery on Tuesday, June 17 successfully and was given instructions that I cannot walk on it for at least 6-8 weeks before starting physical therapy which would keep me out of work for over 2-3 months.

Unfortunately, I discontinued my medical insurance due to high costs a few months before the accident but I was able to get scheduled for the surgery through Emory and was billed later. Since the accident happened in DC and the emergency room is in Virginia but I live in Georgia, I am not eligible for financial assistance because it is only for residents of Virginia. In addition to all of this, my short-term disability has not been approved yet and when it does get approved, it will only be 60% of a 20-hour-per-week check. I am usually not a person to ask anybody for anything but I am going to need some help to get through the next couple of months to pay bills at home which includes rent and utilities, medical bills, food, etc. I would greatly appreciate any donation that is given. I love you all and hope to be back in action sooner rather than later. ❤️
