Journey to Paralympics

Hello you all!
Earlier today, I sent a text to a few people in regards to the financial hardships of being an athlete. I'm not a quitter, but I pretty much called it quits earlier today. But, I thought about it, and I have just come too far to quit. It would be such an insult to my family and all of the people who have supported me.
As an athlete a lot of things are needed; Traveling, time and other expenses.
But, most importantly the legs that help me perform.
Many of you may not know that any type of sport I do, I have to get a leg in order to do that sport. These legs come in different sizes and weight categories based on the force applied.
Because insurance classifies sports as "optional" activities, insurance will not cover running legs or supplies. These have to be paid out of pocket.
I would really like to perform at my best and represent for all of my friends with and without disabilities. And, ultimately I would love the opportunity to represent Arkansas and the U.S.
I have created this Go Fund Me for anyone who would like to help me on my journey. In return, I plan to do my absolute best and represent being an athlete on the highest level.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for any support whether verbal or financial or both!
I'm currently on my journey for Paralympic trials. Hoping to get the gear that I need be able to compete at a high level. I'm hoping to get a new running leg for the long jump and 400 meter dash.
