Help Adalia Rose Come Home
My name is Bling Johnson and I'm a friend of Adalia Rose. If you haven't heard of Adalia, she is one of the funniest, most incredible & positive kids you will ever meet, in spite of the fact that she was born with Progeria. Progeria is a rare condition that causes children to age 8 times faster than an average person. The sad reality of this condition is it decreases the life expectancy significantly to the early teen years on average.
I met Adalia when she was 6 years old and over the past 4 years I've become close to her and her family.
Adalia made a few YouTube videos of her dancing and singing a few years ago and quickly became an internet sensation picking up over 14 million followers on Facebook!Check out her page and you'll see why I love this kid.
Here's why I am creating this GoFundMe campaign. Adalia and her family moved from Austin to just outside of Denver last year to relocate for her parents work. Over the past few weeks Adalia began to have severe migranes which led to her throwing up daily, losing a significant amount of weight and her condition became life threatening.
After not being satisfied with the diagnosis and treatment of the local doctors in their small town, they rushed Adalia to a large children's hospital in Denver to find out what was going on. Her Mom told me on the phone today that she thought this was it. NOT what anyone wanted to hear. Especially since her Mom is 8 months pregnant.
The doctors quickly identified the cause of Adalia's recent migranes and severe dehydration. They said the altitude in Colorado was causing too much stress on Adalia's fragile body and they needed to get her out of the area as soon as possible.
They are now having to move back to the Austin area this week and need help. Since this was so unexpected it has put a huge financial strain on their family especially with the current medical bills they incurred and being 8 months pregnant. They called me not knowing what to do. 
After working with them on costs and logistics for a moving truck, flying the Mom's brother out to help drive the moving truck and other travel/relocation expenses, I'm going to raise $2,000 to help make this happen for them. The campaign is only $1,500 because Becky and I are personally giving them $500 of our own money.
If there is ANY help you can provide, I would greatly appreciate it and I know they would too. They have to leave Colorado by Friday and I committed to come up with the money no matter what I had to do. 100% of this money is going directly to the moving/travel/relocation expenses for Adalia and her family. I'll keep the campaign open through Saturday so that anyone that wants to help have some time to put whatever they can together.
