We (Nadya Salcedo, Mike Tuckman, Ashley Wilson, and Solomon Prophete) are asking for help & donations for Marina Cepeda, who lost her home to the devasating fire on Sunday in Cypress Hills. Marina is a wonderful, caring, and generous woman who takes care of our children (Tito & Hudson). She is also the mother of Denise, Steven and David, who join us in setting up this page for their mother.
[Esta es la página en la cual uno puede hacer donaciones a través del internet y que llega directamente a Marina para ayudarla recuperar lo que ella perdió después del fuego que se le destruyó la casa el domingo pasado. ]
We were devastated to learn on Sunday April 24th, 2016 - a disastrous six alarm fire broke out around 6:30 p.m in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn.
NY1 news coverage of the fire
NBC NY News coverage of the fire

ABC NY news coverage of the fire
Tragically, Marina's home burned down and now she needs all the help she can get. She has lost all of her possessions and is now without a home. The picture above is all that is left.
Luckily, Marina was able to escape her home with her two grandchildren when the fire started. She and her family were not injured. She is very grateful that no one got seriously injured or hurt.
We are raising money to help Marina replace her clothes, household items, furniture, and to help her find a new home.
Marina is a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, and caretaker. She works extremely hard to provide support to her family here in Brooklyn and in the Dominican Republic.
Please donate what you can so Marina can get past this and rebuild her life! Si puedes contribuir algo a Marina, les agradeceríamos un montón.
