This is a pic of my next surgery. The Dr is going to remove the bone and replace it with a steel disc and screws. Beckie Riggs was traveling back to work as a Manager in training, after running errands for large resturant franchise when the truck she was driving in was hit from behind by another vehicle, while stopped at a red light. Beckie survived, but was left with extensive injuries. This campaign was created to aid Beckie and her husband, Bobby, as they begin the long road to recovery.
Beckie has currently had 5 surgeries as a result of the accident, and still has two remaining (her neck and back), with the hope that she will be able to lead a normal life once more. She is constantly in pain, is unable to sleep, and not able to do the things she loves, like tending her garden, taking care of her elderly mother, and enjoying and playing with her kids and grandkids.
Beckie has always been there to help and support anyone who has needed it, from her employees to strangers, no matter what it was they needed.
We are hoping to raise the money to assist her with payment of her medical bills, along with purchasing her an adjustable bed so she can sleep with some normalicy and continue her healing.
Beckie has been unable to work full time as she was able to do before this accident and as of the creation of this campaign, she has lost $18,000 in income and will continue to rise with the additional surgeries which has created a great hardship for her familly. Due to she needs to make payments on these medical bills and hopefully be able to get the adjustable bed, all donations would be greatly appreciated as soon as possible.
Her family and friends want to be able to see her return to an as normal life as she had before this terrible accident. It is difficult to ask for assistance, but please know that all funds received will be greatly appreciated and will ensure she is able to continue this progress back to a normal life.
